About Emma

From a very young age Emma had always loved baking and not only in the kitchen. During the summer, the beach was known as "Emma's Bake Shop" where she sold sand cakes, pies, and cookies. Her love for baking led her to Culinary School at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. There, Emma had the privilege of being educated under several master chefs including Chef Joseph Decker, Master Pastry Chef. She also had the honor of working under Michelle Bommarito, a nation-wide known cake designer. Emma's continuous efforts in the bakery led to her promotion as Sous Chef. Her experience included assisting Michelle in a "Sweet 16 Birthday Cake Challenge" on the Food Network. Working side by side with Michelle opened a new window to the cake world! Emma's love and dedication for pastries shows through each masterpiece!
